DESCRIPTION:Helping Tools Series\nPrompting for Success: Using Prompting Effectively\nto Support Your Childs Learning and Development\nPlease join us via Zoom or phone for our monthly RCRC Parent Academy series on Helping Tools for Social-Emotional Health and Development. \nIn this 10th Parent Academy in the Helping Tools series\, the presenter will review prompting\, an evidence-based intervention that when used with thought and planning\, can be an efficient and effective tool for teaching your child new skills and to become more independent. During this 1.5-hour presentation\, you will learn about different prompting procedures as well as the types of prompts that can be used. \nWe will discuss the risk of prompt dependency\, the importance of prompt fading\, prompting and reinforcement\, and much more! \nVideo examples will be provided\, and tips and resources will be shared.
