Community Resource Development Plan/Community Placement Plan

CRDP/CPP funding is provided to:

  • Expand the availability, accessibility, and types of services and supports to meet the current and future needs of individuals and their families in the community.
  • Develop systems to ensure that quality services and supports in the least restrictive environment are provided to individuals in the community.
  • Develop services that are person-centered and represent the diversity of the regional center’s catchment area.

FY 24/25 Priorities

The proposed projects for the fiscal year 2024-2025 reflect resource development priorities based on stakeholder input for RCRC’s four-county catchment area. RCRC may elect to fund all, part, or none of the proposed projects, depending on funding availability as approved by DDS, the quality of proposals received, and pending the approval of the projects as written.

RCRC Priorities for CRDP New Resource Development for fiscal year 2024-2025

  1. Adult Family Home Agency-Teaching Home Model in Humboldt County- Service Provider development.
  2. Affordable Housing–Multi-family Housing Development in Humboldt County.
  3. Parent Advocacy and Support Vendors with an emphasis on Hispanic and Native Communities in Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, and/or Mendocino County.
  4. Mental Health Clinician (Licensed therapists) Development in Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake and Mendocino Counties.
  5. Social Recreational Resource Development in Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake and/or Mendocino County.

RCRC Priorities for CRDP New Resource Development for fiscal year 2023-2024

 Affordable Housing–Multi-family Housing Development in Humboldt County.

  1. Adult Family Home Agency-Teaching Home Model in Humboldt County- HDO development.
  2. Coordinated Family Support Service Provider Agency, with an emphasis on Spanish speaking providers.
  3. Training activities for Mental Health Clinicians, Direct Support Professionals, and RCRC Vendors.
  4. Parent Advocacy and Support Vendors with an emphasis on Hispanic and Native Communities.

DDS Approved CPP/CRDP Projects for FY 23/24

  1. Multi-Family Housing Development in Lake County. $1,000,000 has been awarded in FY 2023-24 Reappropriation (RAP) funds to support the development of this project.
  2. Multi-Family Housing Development in Humboldt County. $500,000 has been awarded in FY 2023-24 Community Resource and Development (CRDP) funds to support the development of this project.
  3. Multi-Family Housing Development in Humboldt County. $1,000,000 has been awarded in FY 2023-24 Community Resource and Development (CRDP) funds to support the development of this project.
  4. Development of a Family Teaching Home in Humboldt County. $500,000 ($225,000 acquisition and $275,000 renovation) has been awarded in FY 2023-24 Community Resource and Development (CRDP) funds to support the development of this project.
  5. Development of Coordinated Family Support Agencies in RCRC’s catchment area. $40,000 has been awarded in FY 2023-24 Community Resource and Development (CRDP) funds to support the development of this project.
  6. Live online and in-person trainings for RCRC vendored clinicians and Direct Support Professionals, and purchase of training resources for RCRC vendors. $50,000 has been awarded in FY 2023-24 Community Resource and Development (CRDP) funds to support the development of this project.

FY 22/23 Priorities

The proposed projects for the fiscal year 2022-2023 reflect  resource development priorities based on stakeholder input for RCRC’s four-county catchment area. RCRC may elect to fund all, part, or none of the proposed projects, depending on funding availability as approved by DDS, the quality of proposals received, and pending the approval of the projects as written.

RCRC requested final input from stakeholders by Sunday, November 13, 2022 prior to plan submission to DDS.  No further stakeholder input was received.

  4. RCRC Accessibility for Intake/Assessment and Early Intervention Services in Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, and Mendocino Counties (up to $20,000).
