FY 2024-2025 Peer-led Parent Advocacy and Support Services

RCRC received approval from the State Department of Developmental Services (DDS) for start-up funding to carry out RCRC’s FY 2024-2025 Community Resource Development Plan (CRDP). RCRC is seeking proposals to develop two vendors to provide peer-led parent advocacy and support services; with one vendor to be located and provide services in Humboldt/Del Norte County, and one vendor to be located and provide services in Lake/Mendocino County. The service provided by peer-led parent advocates will be overseen by the vendor agencies chosen through the RFP process. The project goal is to provide support and advocacy for RCRC families, with an emphasis on supporting underserved communities, in order to increase community access and connection with community resources, including navigating the regional center systems of support.
